Are you looking for camping adventures and youth leadership development in Indiana? Then look no further than the Hoosier Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America! We provide Boy Scouts of America programs, including Venturing, Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Sea Scouting and so much more. We’re also known for our exciting summer camp programs! If you want your kids to appreciate the great outdoors, our programs are a great way to do so! We’ll teach them the necessary skills in order to survive. They’ll also learn about discipline, honor, respect, and hard work. What’s not to love about that? Scouting is a great way to bond with your children as well. Council News

First Aid Kit Sales: We are very excited to announce a great opportunity for your Scouts to pay their own way for summer adventures, BSA registration and Council Program Fee costs, or any other Scouting expense. First Aid Kits. This non-food product is in line with our motto to Be Prepared, and is a great community service. This sales campaign will run from March 1 – May 15, 2024. Scout units earn 30% commission and experience no risk, or costs, from this easy-to-sell product that aligns with Scouting values! Check out more details!

3rd Annual Sporting Clays tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 14th. Proceeds from this event help keep Scouting programs affordable for all Scouts, helping to develop tomorrow’s leaders through adventures today! Check out more details on this great event!

Scouting’s Fee Structure Changes April 1st

Launched in 2023, Mission 4792 is the new Council Strategic Plan aimed at surpassing the number of youth we serve annually to levels realized pre-pandemic. A webpage has been developed to explain how this Mission will impact local Scouting units in the years to come. Check out the latest on our progress.
